The INTEGRITY Nutrient Control System is revolutionizing manure management practices with proven technologies recognized and accepted by the academic and regulatory communities.
The INTEGRITY Nutrient Control System begins with the separation of the liquid from the manure solids. This allows greater flexibility in treatment, nutrient management and land application. The separated solids and settled sludge contain most of the nutrients, yet constitute only a very small portion of the total waste stream that can be selectively and conveniently land applied, or composted and sold.

Modern dairies require integrated manure systems for environmental responsibility and profitability.

The INTEGRITY System can allow herd expansions on a small land base.
The liquid is sent to the main treatment basin (lagoon) where it is subjected to inductive aeration. Odor-producing anaerobes (bacteria that thrive without oxygen) are replaced by aerobic microorganisms. These oxygen-loving bacteria stabilize nutrients, digest organic matter up to 20 times faster than anaerobic bacteria and do not produce unpleasant odors.
The liquid is now treated wastewater that is virtually odor free and very low in nutrient values. It can be land applied in much higher volumes per acre while still meeting nutrient planning requirements. The INTEGRITY PulseJet permits application of the liquid at a precisely controlled rate adjustable from .009 to .05 inches/acre/hour. The liquid is delivered only to the root zone over an extended period of time so the INTEGRITY PulseJet can be used under wet conditions and without fear of run-off.
The INTEGRITY System permits responsible manure management at approximately one-half the cost of tanking while virtually eliminating odor problems, soil compaction and a wide array of other environmental issues.
Half the Cost of Tanking Slurry
Handling slurry by tanking costs between $7.00 to $14.00 per 1,000 gallons verses approximately $5.00 per 1,000 gallons with the complete INTEGRITY System.
Eliminates Odor Problems
The System converts lagoon microbiology from anaerobic (without oxygen) to aerobic (with oxygen). Aerobic bacteria do not produce noxious gasses such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide and they decompose organic matter much more rapidly than anaerobic bacteria.
Reduces Environmental Liability
The INTEGRITY PulseJet System has the EcoSafe control package that automatically shuts the pump down if a leak or blockage occurs, virtually eliminating all potential for an environmental event. There are no tanker accidents and run-off is a non-issue.
Reduces Labor Inputs
One month of PulseJet operation saves around 300 man-hours verses tanking. Additionally, the PulseJet System can operate with little supervision saving many additional man-hours.
Eliminates Run-off
The INTEGRITY PulseJet System delivers treated liquids to fields at a controlled rate ranging from .009” - .05” per acre per hour. Run-off is virtually impossible because soil infiltration rates are not exceeded.
Meet N or P Based Nutrient Plans
The INTEGRITY Nutrient Control System permits isolation and stabilization of nutrients. This in turn allows comprehensive nutrient management such as targeted application according to crop and soil needs on a field by field basis.
Proven and Accepted
The INTEGRITY Nutrient Control System was developed with the support of major Universities and is proven and accepted by both the academic and regulatory communities. The INTEGRITY System speeds the permitting process.
Reduces Storage Needs
The INTEGRITY PulseJet System can land apply liquids over a longer period of time and under a wider range of soil conditions. Additionally, mechanical separation removes another 20% - 30% of solids from the manure stream by volume.
Improves Soil Quality
The INTEGRITY System applies a nearly odor free, aerobic, organic liquid that facilitates nutrient exchange at the ionic level in the soil. Additionally, application of compost improves soil structure, tilth and moisture holding abilities.
Permits Better Nutrient Uptake
The INTEGRITY PulseJet System applies nutrients to the root zone where they are readily accessible to the crop.
Eliminates Soil Compaction Due to Tanking
The INTEGRITY PulseJet System virtually eliminates tanking, the major cause of soil compaction.
Reduces Power Requirement
The INTEGRITY PulseJet System operates up to 5 miles from the treatment basin on a 10 horsepower electric pump. There is no need for high horsepower tractors, agitators and big-gun irrigation pumps.
Expand Herd Size on Same Land Base
The processes of mechanical separation and clarification isolate nutrients in a relatively small volume of material that can be selectively applied or exported. INTEGRITY ASP composting results in a further bulk reduction of 40% to 60% and can provide a significant source of income.
Affordable and Flexible
The INTEGRITY Nutrient Control System is comprised of building blocks, each offering an array of benefits. The System can be implemented in steps over time or all at once for complete pollution and nutrient control. Perfect for expansions or new construction, the System easily adapts to virtually any existing manure management system.
Scrape or Flush
The INTEGRITY Nutrient Control System works equally well with scrape or flush systems.
Engineered System
Each INTEGRITY system is designed by NCS to interface efficiently with virtually any facility - new or existing. Engineering assures performance, compliance and economical construction.
